Musée de la Faïencerie

In the old earthenware factory of the castle of Ancy-le-Franc, are presented: an exhibition on the history of the earthenware factory in activity from 1765 to 1807, the results of the excavations undertaken on site from 1982 to 1993 and a collection of earthenware from local manufacturers that had very similar productions in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, all influenced by Nevers. An adjoining room hosts temporary exhibitions of works by contemporary artists.
