Exposition Combler le vide

A vyryvanka is a type of vytynanka, the traditional Ukrainian art of paper cutting. They are used to decorate homes and become here a tool for exploring the state of emptiness caused by war: the loss of homes, people and the usual landmarks of life. The void is not like a total absence, but like a space of potentialities and poses in new terms a universal question: "By what do we fill the void in us and around us?"
