Description

This tour will guide you through the communal woods of the Chapelle-Vieille-Forêt to discover the fauna and flora: deer and wild boars in particular. This beautiful hike will take you to ponds and ponds where you can take a well-deserved pose.
1. You leave this path to arrive on a paved street. The cemetery is located on the other side of this location. You turn left (rue des Etangs). 2. You leave Rue des Etangs to turn right onto Rue des Promenades. You arrive at the height of a tree that symbolizes a roundabout. You pass to the right of this tree and you enter at the height of N°10 bis (placed on a pavilion) in an alley that leads to the Château d 'Eau. You pass this water tower leaving it on your right. 3. Then 50 m later, you take a rather wide grassy path that goes to the right. A little further on, you will turn left once and then right once to join a paved road. 4. Arrived at this paved road, you cross it, and opposite you take a grassy path. 5. You arrive on a tarmac road, rather wide. You take it on your left. Without leaving it until the next point. 6. You arrive at an intersection of paths. You recently returned to the forest. Go straight through this intersection. But be careful, very quickly, you will have to take a small, narrow, grassy path that rushes into the forest on your left. So you leave the aisle you were on. This very pleasant path goes down into the forest and extends to a very hollow ditch (Ru Fouinat) You will have ignored all the paths that go to the right or left of this alley on which you are. 7. Arrived at the ditch, caution, the passage of the ditch (or ford) can be made difficult if a lot of water flows into it. Past this gap you go straight ahead by embarking on a grassy path. You ignore the paths that go left and right at this point. 8. Very quickly (50 m) you arrive on a bifurcation. You must then take the path that starts on the right at a right angle. You won't leave it. Soon the coating changes. The grassy pathway gives way to a gravelled driveway. Continue straight ahead ignoring the paths that go right or left. 9. You arrive at a major bifurcation. You have just crossed a barrier and on your left a hunter's house serves as a landmark. At this crossroads, you cross the paved road to enter, in front, on a grassy driveway. You will have to cross a barrier again. You continue straight ahead. Slightly downhill path. 10. New intersection. Here, turn left and then immediately right. You cross a white-coloured metal barrier with black-coloured parts. You stay on this path. 11. You arrive at an intersection. Take the gravel path, starting on your right. Slight climb. 12. This is where you can reach the pond located at 50 m. Turn left, then very quickly you will see the pond. It's a nice place to have a picnic. You can go around it. Follow the signs. Back to your starting point, (pond) you will take the opposite path, starting on your left. But you will ignore the path by which you arrived earlier (right) and go straight ahead. The path you take is bordered, on your left, by a fence made of square mesh. You are actually walking along a wild boar breeding park. Continue on this path. 13. New intersection. Heading to the left. You are still walking along the wire fence. 14. You arrive at a plot. Take the stony driveway (quite wide) that starts on your right. 15. You arrive at a new intersection (Small Square). You cross straight to take an alley. A house bears the number 4 and catches your attention. Then, 10 m later, turn left into a tiny alley that takes you to a small square behind the church. You go around the church by turning right. You see a monument to the dead to which you are heading. You pass in front of the Town Hall. (Grande Rue) Then leave to your right a place with two bus shelters. You continue straight ahead. 16. You arrive at an intersection. Go straight across Flogny Chavey Street. Take Rue du Verdeau. You arrive on a subdivision of fairly recent pavilions. Keep going by staying on that same street. 17. You arrive at a new intersection. Place with 2 separate bus shelters. Conifers in the background. Walk along the fences of the pavilions, staying on your right (rue des Groseilliers). Soon you will see the car park from which you left. The buckle is closed.
