Tanlay et son château

Discover one of the most beautiful Renaissance castles in Burgundy on this tour! An ancient Roman road will then lead you to the village of Saint-Vinnemer where you will join the Burgundy Canal.

1. With your back to the town hall, you start on your left and follow the driveway to the next intersection. Turn right. Once over the bridge, turn left to join the towpath along the Canal. Continue on this path until you reach the Moulin de Saint-Vinnemer lock and then turn left. 2. Turn left on Rue des Couardes and follow Chemin des Vaches. Ignore the crossing of paths and continue straight ahead. 3. When you reach this intersection, take a left and go down on Tanlay until you reach the D965. Cross the road through the pedestrian crossing and back down to the Castle. Reach the starting point.
