Tonnerre, sa forêt et sa vigne en lyre

Variant of the "Thunder and its forest" hike. Discover the forest of Tonnerre, gain the plateau to immerse yourself in the undergrowth of the immense communal forest of Tonnerre. A route that will take you to the heights of Thunder where you will enjoy magnificent panoramas.

1. Back to the station, take a left and then a right to reach Rue Claude Aillot. Turn left, take the bridge and go up Rue de l 'Hôpital. Turn left on Rue des Fontenilles. You arrive on rue Georges Pompidou, continue straight ahead. Turn right on the D117 road, pass the fire station, under the bridge then take the path to the left. 2. Go up to the Ferme des Brions and take the first path on the left and then on the right. Keep going straight. 3. Turn right and then left. On your right, you head to the round hut. Turn around, continue right turn then take the second path on the left. Turn right, then left. 4. Continue straight on the path and leave it at the next left. Turn left at the next junction and then turn right off the path. You join the Brions road and turn left. Continue straight on route des Brions. Cross the D117 then follow the Ferme de la Chappe. Continue straight. Turn right and return to the Faubourg Saint-Michel. Pass under the bridge then take the Bel Air path on your right. Pass in front of the Ferme de Bel Air and walk along the Abbey. Continue straight to the edge of the forest then take the path to the left. 5. Continue right to reach the old cemetery then continue on the boulevard to the left. At the intersection, go down to the right. Down the street, at the foot of Notre-Dame Church, turn left on Rue Vaucorbe. At number 54 of this street, turn right and go up the Grippeau Park. At the top, you arrive in front of St. Peter's Church. Walk past and down the steps to the Dionne Pit. Continue to the right on Rue Campenon and then to the left on Place Edmond Jacob. Reach the train station across the street.
